and just when you thought you weren't in the Christmas spirit...

....this gem of a video came along.

Simply amazing.
I have no words, except for he wears a leotard better than I'll ever dream of wearing one.
That makes him my favorite.

Happy Monday!

Fill in the blank Friday!

Happy Friday friends!
Yesterday was a total bust on the shopping front, sadly.
I honestly couldn't drag myself out of the house.
So sad.
However, today is a new day!
I'm writing this post, then jumping in the shower and hitting the Christmas shopping HARD!

Link up with me over at the little things we do for
1.   The holiday season is   upon us! It seems like it comes and goes so quickly the older I get. I'm going to take the time this year to really enjoy it! Christmas carols all around!

2.   Snow makes me  excited for the first day(or two) when school would be out and work would be canceled. After that it just becomes a sloshy gross mess.

3.  The best comfort food to eat when it's cold out is   chili with chili cheese fritos, shredded cheese, and sour cream...okay so a glorified frito pie. SO GOOD.

4. Winter is the best time for   snuggles!

5.  I can hardly wait for   January and moving to Houston!

6.  When it comes to holiday gifts I prefer to   give! I love the feeling when you've found the 'perfect' gift for someone special. I usually buy gifts last minute because I always want to give them the gifts right away! I'm trying to be better about it, but it's so hard!

7.  If I were to rate my excitement about the holiday season on a scale from 1-10, I would say I am at about a   6. It just doesn't feel like Christmas time to me! Maybe because it was about 80 degrees last week.  Don't worry, I'll be breaking out the NSYNC Christmas before long and then I'll be about a 10!

I also need to give a shout out to my girl Britney who turns 30 today!
we're getting old ya'll.

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend!

It's okay...

I'm linking up for the first time with Amber for "It's Ok Thursdays" because basically I need to tell myself that it's okay to be the way I am :)

It's Okay...
...to still be eating left-overs from Thanksgiving(right?)
...to wonder how in the world it's already December
...to go Christmas shopping and buy a few things for yourself
...to pin a bunch of DIY crafts to Pinterest knowing that you'll probably never do any of them
...to want to curl up on the couch with a blanket and watch a movie rather than go out
...to miss College
...to freak out about finding a job
...to freak out about moving to Houston without having a job
...to freak out in general
...to be ready for a New Year and new beginnings
...to be excited for the ones you love to open their Christmas gifts

Really, it's okay!

I've been a little under the weather the past couple of days, but I'm feeling much better now! I'm heading into town to knock off some Christmas shopping! I'm usually a last minute shopper because I always want to give everyone their gifts immediately, so lets hope I can make it to Christmas day!

Woooooooo PIG SOOIE!!

As you all are recovering from your Thanksgiving food coma and finding great gift deals for Christmas, the lovah and I are down in Baton Rouge getting ready to cheer on our Razorbacks against the LSU Tigers.

There is SO much riding on this game that I'm getting heart palpitations just thinking about it.

Arkansas is currently #3 in the country.
LSU is #1.
Alabama is #2.

If we beat LSU today then there will be a three way tie between these teams (we all will have one loss).
But the kicker is these three teams will have all lost to EACH OTHER!
We lost to Alabama, Alabama lost to LSU, and (pending today's outcome) LSU will have lost to us.

This is where things get interesting.
Who goes to the SEC championship?
Who goes to the NATIONAL championship?!

See what I'm saying....it's a nail biter ya'll!!

So come 1:30 today, say a little prayer for me and my Razorbacks!

And I hope to be reenacting this picture with some pretty sad LSU fans!

Thankful and Blessed

I am blessed beyond words to have the life I have.
I have so much to be thankful for, not only today but everyday.

I'm thankful for a Mother who loves me unconditionally and is silly with me

I'm thankful for a step-father that loves me like his own

I'm thankful for a boyfriend who lets me be me

I'm thankful for my beautiful, healthy puppies

I'm thankful for all of my friends and extended family near and far, and I'm also thankful for all of you who read my little blog!

I hope you are blessed today and every other day of the year!

{I'm Loving} that John is coming to spend Thanksgiving with me this year! We've been together for 3 years (this is our fourth set of holidays as a couple...cray cray) and this will be the first year we've spent a major holiday together! So excited...are we growing up?!

{I'm Loving} that after all of the thanks and all of the giving, Mr. John Andrew and I will be headed down to Baton Rouge (AKA Death Valley) to watch our #3 Hogs take on the #1 Tigers for the 'Battle of the Boot' and the possibility of a National Championship!
So excited.
