I have not been in the Christmas spirit this year.
Maybe because it's not even December yet.
Maybe because it's 75 degrees outside right now.
Or Maybe it's because this year I'll be asking Santa for a refrigerator and washer/dryer for our new house instead of any fun presents.
I don't know what it is, but seeing Christmas lights and giant red bows everywhere just upsets me.
Bah Humbug.
I'm a Grinch... I know it.
John wants to put up lights and a tree and I just see that as a waste of time and money because what goes up must come down and no one really has time for all of that mess.
I know, I know... worst attitude ever.
Isn't John so lucky?
Maybe next year when we have our own home I'll want to decorate and be festive... speaking of home, this is what it will look like once it's built:

That first picture made me giggle - dashing through the NO. I had a little bit of a hard time getting in the holiday spirit this year too, but I always feel better when I just embrace it!
Your house will be awesome and it'll totally get you in the mood to decorate! :)
